The Rhône! - It’s the long, twisty wet thing that cuts a vertical line through the Southern part of France.
It’s also home to a some of the worlds greatest wines - as well as bargain, weekday staples: Soft grenache led blends, and full-bodied, peppery syrah.
( not to forget some surprisingly complex whites )
This breadth of style and value, makes it a great focus for a wine tasting: Both shops have extended their Rhône selection over the last few weeks and we have a bunch of exciting new stuff for you to try.
So come and join us next month as we spend a couple of hours banging on about all things Rhône
The tasting will start at 7pm sharp on Sunday 3rd May at Argonaut Books
Tickets are available HERE or over the counter in the shop. They are £25 per person and include seven glasses of wine, a few nibbles, and plenty of chat.
